Giving

We think one of the most magical parts of Christmas is the spirit of giving, thus it’s important we embrace the Christmas spirit and support a group that we believe truly exemplifies this quality.

At A Winter’s Day Out 2019 we will be donating $1 from every door sale to Rotary Club of Milson.

About the Rotary Club of Milson

The Rotary Club of Milson is one of five Rotary clubs in Palmerston North.  As part of Rotary International, the purpose of our club is to provide service to build stronger, better functioning communities, in the Manawatu, and in neighbouring countries as part of our international Rotary community.  The club has 55 members, comprising a wide range of people and professions with a diverse range of backgrounds and personal interests.

The Rotary Club of Milson is an organisation that is all about people working together to help others - while enjoying the company of each other in the process.  Since 1973 we have been active in the Manawatu community with highly successful fundraising and community development initiatives. Members contribute their specific talent and expertise to further the causes we select.

In recent times we have made significant donations to Arohanui Hospice, Palmerston North Lifesaving, the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter and have been a major contributor in funding and providing resource to the Wildbase Recovery Centre being established in the Esplanade.  The club has also installed distance markers on the riverside path and continues to have a focus in supporting youth in achieving excellence in sporting, educational and cultural endeavours.
